Hummingbird Rope Bowl SIZE: 8 1/2" rim, 7" base, 2" depth
A delicate and fresh design showcases the vibrant hot pink hibiscus flowers and emerald hummingbird. Place on your patio near a cold glass of lemonade to hold your sunglasses or romance book.
I have channel quilted the fabric to the rope base to give it added dimension. Batik aqua colored fabric is wrapped around several rungs of the bowl. I have added a small stiff lace flower to the rope coil as the finishing touch. I make the bowl by coiling the cotton cord around to make the shape and then sew it with my home sewing machine. The embroidery and lace flower were made on my embroidery machine.
