Forget-Me-Not Fabric Rope Bowl 6" rim, 4" base, 1 1/2" deep
Small, but cute! I have coiled the cotton rope for the base and then covered it with a floral fabric. Channel quilting is added to the top of the base as a finishing touch.
The fabric is then cut into long strips and hand wrapped around the cording to form the walls of the bowl. I use my sewing machine to attach each row to the other.
A bright blue organza flower is attached to the lower edge,
There are no raw edges showing throughout the bowl.
