Spring Violet Rope Bowl SIZE: 6" rim, 4" base, 1 1/2" depth
Such a cute little bowl to give as a handmade gift! You can almost smell the violets in this little fabric bowl. Add a lace handkerchief along with wrapped candy to set off the ambiance of days gone by.
sew all of this trinket bowl on my homes sewing machine. The base if channel quilted to give texture and stability. The side wall is hand wrapped cotton rope with the same violet design.
Most of my fabrics are no longer made and so they become a much-cherished item.
**I have sewn the center of this bowl with a channel quilting method. This gives you a chance to see what the fabric design looks like, plus keeps it nicely secured to the rope base.
**The rounded sides are wrapped in the same fabric giving it a kaleidoscope of colors, while adding texture.
**A tiny handmade organza and bead flower with a silk leaf is attached to the inner side.
This is made in my smoke free home in the foothills of Kalispell, Montana.

Care instructions
Bowls: Use a damp cloth to wipe off. The smaller bowls can be put in the washer on gentle and then air dried.
Towels: All embroidered towels can be put in the washer and dryer as I have already preshrunk the fabric before embroidering on it.
What about the extra sewing threads and stabilizer on the back of the bowls and towels?
Bowls: I have taken the extra time and care to snip off the extra threads and stabilizer from the bottom lf the bowls. So no other action is needed.
Towels: Extra thread has been removed from both the front and back of the towel. Most of the stabilizer has been trimmed closely to the embroidered design. The remainder of the stabilizer will dissolve with the first washing of your towel.
Will my towels shrink and bunch to distort the embroidery design during washing?
No, as i have taken the extra step to prewash all of the towels before embroidering on them.
Where is the cotton rope made?
The natural cotton rope is manufactured in the USA!
Do you use AI to make your bowls?
No, I make my bowls all by hand and my ideas come to me during the early morning hours.
