Snowman Rope Bowl SIZE: 8 1/2" rim 6 1/2" base 1 1/2" depth
Holiday Happiness describes this festive rope bowl. These make great gifts for anyone in your family, school, or work.
I have hand coiled this bowl and then used a zigzag stitch to stabilize it. I use a channel quilting stitch to secure the fabric to the base of the bowl. This keeps it flat without puckering. To finish off the design, I have added flat ribbon to make the candy cane effect inside the bowl and again, around the top edge by wrapping it much closer. I have made a small stiff lace snowflake, on my home embroidery machine, as the final touch.
