My Fair Lady Hat Box 8 1/4" rim, 7" base, 3 1/4" deep; lid 8 1/2"
Use as a keepsake box to place family photos in. I can see a prom corsage or lace wedding garter safely laying in it. Add a small fragrant sachet for a pleasing scent when opening it.
This fabric wrapped rope bowl, with lid, is made in soft colors and a hand crocheted doily, along with a handmade magnolia on top.
Give as a gift to that special person who likes an old fashioned flair to her accessories.
I have coiled the clothesline and then have stitched it to form both the bowl and the lid. The flower and decorative stitches are made on my sewing machine to add just the right finished touch. Two porcelain light blue beads decorate the ends of the cord spirals.
